报告人摘要:Both virus-to-cell and cell-to-cell transmission modes are critical in shaping the long-term dynamics of HIV infection. Furthermore, the immune response particularly the activity of cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs), plays a significant role in determining the threshold conditions for viral persistence, To better understand these dynamics, we develop a mathematical model that incorporates age-structured with in-host virus dynamics and the immune response. This framework allows us to explore the complex interactions between HIV transmission, progression, and immune activity. By analyzing the characteristic equations, we determine the local stability of the feasible steady states. Additionally, using Lyapunov functionals and LaSalle's invariance principle, we establish that the global threshold dynamics of the system are governed by the immune-inactivated and immune-activated reproduction rates. This study provides a more precise representation of the intricate relationship between HIV and the immune system, offering insights that could inform future therapeutic strategies.
